Carol's octaves
New York-based saxophonist and flautist Carol Sudhalter has a new CD on release, with a photo by John Watson in the booklet.
The CD is entitled 'Carol Sudhalter - The Octave Tunes' and it's released on the Rome-based label Alfa Music.
All the tracks, standards and originals, begin on the interval of an octave. They include Alice In Wonderland, Crazy He Calls Me, Let It Snow and The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting . . . )
Carol's fellow performers on the disc include Hammond organist Vito Di Modugno, pianist Carlo Barile, and singers Elena Camarin and Marti Mabin.
